JCW Gear Shift Indicator

Hi Everybody,
I have been reading posts on this forum for a long time now and decided it was time to add to the fun!! I have 3 questions/requests: First, I was wondering if anyone has ordered the JCW Gear Shift Indicator. If so, is it worth buying? I was thinking about ordering it when I order my CooperS hear in a few weeks. If you have it would you please provide a pic and maybe what the cost would be to install it? Second, does anybody have a picture of an AB/W with hyper sport package? That is what I will be ordering. Third, does anybody have the brushed alloy interior? If my questions have already been answered I would be very appreciative if you could point me in the right direction.
Happy motoring ,

Paul

I have the thing on my R53 JCW cabrio.

What's the point if you don't race. Can't you feel when the rev's are high enough to shift?

Well I clearly must be in the minority on this, especially as the tach is right there too!

I can understand the big red shift light that the "real" racers use, but all those green, yellow and reds would bother me, plus I'd prefer it went from left to right changing to red rather than going both directions at once.......

Interesting little mod..........

BTW, nice job on recording while you drove - NOW DON'T DO THAT AGAIN!

With all window down and sunroof open, I hit rev limiter couple of times (my Mini revs up pretty fast though ). But not after I have the shift light.

Also, during the day it is not as effective as at night.
