Interior/Exterior Aero side skirts /Trim mods

Has anyone replaced their side skirts without changing the wheel hoops. Can it be done. I am having to replace several pieces (post crash) and am open to any ideas about mods. Maybe body color paint on the trim? Give me your input. Thanks
