Outmotoring sells it but it doesn't leave room for any mistakes, which I found out the hard way.

so I picked a 150' roll from here. Shipping was the killer. It ended up being more tape than I needed but, oh well. http://www.autopaintersupply.com/Mer...ory_Code=3m727

Great info, I think I will get the low gloss. How does it hold up to car wash's? Thank you

it seems like it holds up ok. I've only washed my car twice since I put it on (about a month ago). According to the posts it seems to hold up well, we'll see. But then again I bought 150' so if I have to replace a side it's not a big deal.

It's an easy mod, but take your time. Get all those air bubbles out of there.

I also got my black-out tape through Terry's. Remember there is a topcovering to the tape that needs to be removed. I removed mine after it was installed. As to standing up to washing, there has been no problem, i've had mine installed for a year.

Mario you've seen my car a few times and that " quicky " belt line job is now almost 2 years old. I was the car at least 2 times a week .The good stuff is pretty much bullet proof.

...fyi the r56 beltline is 5/8" and there is NO 5/8 available so we will soon have a 3/4 that once installed can be trimmed with a sharp blade...

I talked to these people, they are very nice and they DO have the 3/4 black tape BUT do not come in Flat Back, like the 3M used for the R53

Is the outmotoring tape going to be flat black?
