Does anyone know how to remove the Airbag on the R56? It looks different than the R53. I have a JCW steering wheel that I want to install.

I got delivery of my R56 today. I asked to speak to a service tech about removing the air bag. Seems there is one center hole on the bottom of the new steering wheel. You need to insert a torx drive or something simular to release the spring that holds the air bag on. I will find out tomorrow morning and update!

 

Ok, its confirmed the R53 Steering wheel will not work on the R56 due to the new Style Airbag . Looks like I will be selling my Alacantara R53 wheel and ordering one for the R56
