harness bars and rear strut bars

Hey another thing for today...This might be a dumb question, but I was wondering if there was a rear upper strut bar (like pilo racing) that was able to have harnesses connected to them instead of having a harness bar installed? Or is the pilo bar strong enough???? Is any of this possible?

thanks, hope to hear back soon.

I would vote no for two reasons . One it is not designed to be pulled forward and two the length of the straps would be unsafe due to excessive stretching. All harness stretch to some abmount under load. Calculating what strap would be safe for that distance would be tricky at best. Good luck.

I think the best way to go now is the Schroth quickfit system and then the pilo by itself...do you think that is also the best(easyiest) way to go?

Sounds the best route at this time. Later you could get the "half" roll cage and mount real harnesses on that.

Your interior looks like mine....less an interior... BTW, stoopid cage blows!...Why do they have to make the back bars so tight! Mallot power! Anyways, the Pilo bar is totally different and should never have harnesses mounted to it.
