Something occuered to me the other day.. On MINIUSA, in the owner's lounge, there's a stock image on the left-hand side of the page. This one:



Anyone know what shifter boot that is? I'm probably one in a million, but I like it, and would like to get one, but heck if my dealer can find out anything on it.

Anyone point me to a part number or somethin' on it? (And don't ask me why he's shifting into 2nd or 4th without moving. ) As an aside, it probably requires a new shifter as well, it appears..

Can't you just push the stock boot down low on the shifter?

 

Nah, there's a stop to hold it up, and it's turned inside out around the shifter (to give it that 'billow out' look).

Indeed. Mine slides down my Alta SS all the time, and I pull it back up to where I like it about once every week or two.
