Front License Plate Filler Panel?

I've done lots of searching and reading here lately, but have seen no answer to this question...

If I wanted to remove my front license plate, is there any kind of filler panel to cover the gaping, Euro-plate-size opening in the front bumper of my MC? I like the idea of getting a Euro plate, but feel that might draw more unwanted attention from law enforcement than having no plate at all.

I'm thinking along the lines of the filler panel used on C4-C5 Corvettes...does anything like this exist for the Cooper?

Also, MiniA, you're going to love the JCW SK on the MC.

I have a front license plate bracket that fills the Euro hole but it leaves you with an american license plate holder. It's brand new and still in its plastic bag. Will this work for you?

Ords - I'm really looking forward to the JCW SK!

Thrilhouse - actually, that is what I have too...I'm wondering if that pops off and if there is something that will fill that in so that I don't have to have a front plate...

That's actually what I just removed to install my Aero Kit grilles...lol

Here's what I'm left with after removing the U.S. plate holder:

I'm resurrecting this thread because I have the same exact question. I want to know if there is anywhere to find a panel to fill the space in the photo in the post above. I currently have the panel that has the US plate sized addition in the center of it. I don't like the fact that it sticks up and covers some of the grill. I tried taking it off and flipping it over so that the plate would face down, but the panel is not designed to be flipped over. It only fits on one way. So I'm wondering if anyone knows where to get a panel to simply fill the space above? If so, then I'll just drill two holes and put my plate back on but make it go down a little ways over the lower grill, rather than up a little ways over the upper grill. Below is a doctored picture of the way I want it to end up looking.

I did a search and didn't have much luck. They exist for BMWs but didn't find any for the Mini. Are you looking for color match? Have you considered going custom? Pricey, but may be the best option. Good luck.

Depending on how pricey, it may be cheaper to get a used MCS or even aero kit bumper (what I'm considering doing to get rid of the front frame on my MC)
