Anyone Made MCSC Seat Modificatins?
Sometimes I find the side bolsters on the seats on the hard side. I was thinking softer foam and maybe bending the bolster frames out to make them a little wider would make them more comfortable.
Anyone done any mods to these seats. Putting a cushion in the seat doesn't count as a mod.

I have leatherette sport seats in my '06 hardtop and have the same problem - side bolsters on seat bottom dig into my outer thighs - would love to hear if anyone has softened up their seats. May dig into it myself once winter passes up here.
Someone is going to have to pull a seat and do a little autopsie work and see what sort of metal support is under the bolsters... or it may be totally foam.
Anyone got the guts to take a razor to the foam???
The only comfort thing I have done is to install a couple of flat washers under the front floor mounts and carve a big scoop out of the left downtube.... still the best thing ever for my right leg.

I was kiding, at first, about a seat cushion, however a 1 1/2" cushion in the flat part of the seat might raise you up high enough to get out of the 'bolster pinch'. The cushion could be removed for sporting events to still have the support you wanted. Will have to persue this line, unless some one else has a brighter idea.
I think the best solution for me is to just loose some of my girth in that area....
Back in the olden days when we all were trying to get every ounce off our motorcycles, it was cheaper for me to just go on a diet than to pay some astronomical sum for a light part.
Seriously, I think pulling the seat and looking at whatever may be there as a metal support (bendable) might be a good thing to do one of these Saturday afternoons.
