I just switched to the S door on my MC...was not a fan of what was out there on the market....but that was almost 4 years ago. I am sure there are more options. I say, simple is better, getting something with too much detail will detract from the car, simple rivits or a style like what is on the TT would be nice.

I have the billet one. When I bought it it was stated that it was polished, but it was chrome. After a while the chrome began to flake so I peeled it all off, sanded the metal and painted the ring black. I re-sand the cap every now and then when it starts to look crusty.

Billet Door

Here is the fuel door on my MCSC, it used the cooper door prior to this change.

Hmm.. that'd look quite good in body colour I think, but with the polished rivets/caps.

I like the brushed aluminum style. Where did you find it. Most of what I see available is the polished.

So where did you get it?

Also,
whose rear calipers are you using?

I picked up the door off e-bay, it is a total custom job the required some major modification. The door I purchased is one for the PT Crusier, I had to cut up the fuel door assembly also.

The rear calipers are stock, just painted. The rotors are Brembos cross drilled and slotted.
