I received black clips, also. They work the same as the blue clips.

Getting the shelf to snap into place is a little tricky. With the original knee bolster removed, you'll see a plastic "bar" or cross-member that crosses the exposed area. It has cutouts/hinges for the knee bolster. Now, look on the top edge of that plastic piece. You'll see two small indentions where material is removed from the top edge. That's where the euro shelf will snap into place.

It ain't easy, but it's good to lie down in the floor on your back and take a look down there...or do it with a mirror. When you get the shelf lined up properly, it will snap into place on those indentions.

Good luck. It just takes a little playing around to get it right. Be careful not to scratch your downtubes, etc. in the process.

See ya,
JS

Thanks a lot for the help, everyone! The parcel shelf is installed, and it is really great! I can fit a stack of eight CDs on the left, and four more on the right. And the extra room under there is nice, even if I didn't actually need it. What a great addition to the car!

My clips were black, too. I actually hadn't even noticed them in the bag because they were so much smaller than I expected. I actually didn't have any problem lining the holes up, it just went right in.

I was referring to the row of toggle switches when I said toggle rack. Those toggles are actually part of one assembly. I didn't like having a missing hole, so I ordered an assembly from England that had all of the toggles.

MINIUSA says they are going to offer rear fog lights, so everyone may eventually get the missing toggle.

See ya,

OK, about those stacks of CDs I mentioned above... They stay put just fine, until you get into some spirited driving. Then they end up underfoot. It's still great space for other stuff, though! The CDs only slide off of each other because the cases have so little friction in between them.
