Are they plastic, or are they metal? Thanks. Ron.

Yes, but are they chrome on plastic, or chrome on metal? W---. A--.

The chrome on most of the MINI parts is over plastic, while the chrome on my bicycle is over metal... So there!!!

FYI. Chrome can be plated on most materials, it generally must have a copper coating before the chrome plate.
Wink, or is that ****?

They are chromed plastic and very well done. We have inspected them and found them fairly solid. they look better in person.

Me too winair. I'm close enough to Moss to drive there and pick up my order when they come in. Mid-September they said. I think I'll wait for Moss to get them in and save $22. We'll see how impatient I get. I pick up the clear signal covers tomorrow ($35 for the set from the MINI dealer parts dept.).

That will look really nice with the silver (the clear side makers that is). I'm going to keep the orange ones for my MINI though. I think it will look better with the red. JMHO

My Mini dealer doesn't have any in stock...my boyfriend works for a performance car place and can get them for me , but unfortunately they don't have any clear markers in stock yet for my silver Cooper. I like the chrome side markers, but I don't know if it would look quite right on my Mini...
