It looks like a tissue holder, but I can't find any tissues to fit. Does any one use it for anything?

In that "little" space I have
- a "mini" tire pressure gage
- some fastners for my FRS radio mount
- a Hot wheels version of my MINI
- "mini" bottle of advil
- finger nail clippers
- ear bud cord for FRS radio
- probably an allen wrench or two as well...

So I like it ..

I assume you are referring to the little space in the door. If so, my ipod charger goes in there. I think it's intended for sunglasses.

It's supposed to be a sunglass holder, but mine don't fit. It holds my MINI smints, baby flashlight, and tire gauge.
Note the coin holder slots just this side of the sunglass case - gotta love attention to detail...

Do your coins actually stay in? Mine seem to fall out in the door on my GP and the same was true for my 03 MC.

There are millions of things that you could store in that squirrel hole. I don't have time to list all of them because football playoffs start in less than two hours. But here's just a few to get the list started. A football-hater can finish this for me. Thanks.

1. Gameboy Adapter
2. Eyeglasses
3. Condoms
4. Gum (new or chewed, it's up to you)
5. MINI Club Tag Cards
6. Baggie full of Cheez-its
7. Packet of Carnation Instant Breakfast
8. Milky Way bar
9. Soap
10. Dust Rag
11. Marbles
12. Bracelet
13. Water Pistol
14. Ex Lax
15. Immonium AD (pack both and you're ready for anything)
16. Eagle Scout Badges
17. Certs
18. Pocket Watch
19. Little Black Book
20. Batteries

See.... the possibilities are endless, you just have to use some brainpower !

I keep a bunch of napkins and also a packet of tissues in that space ...but the real question is what are those two pretend cupholders on the glovebox door supposed to be....no way you could put any cups on there and drive off, and even if you are stopped and need a spot to put a cup, there aren't too many cups that small that could be placed on there

They match the "they look like cupholders but you really can't use them as cupholders" in the center console. My take - that's the German influence: "You vill not use zeez vor kupholderz!" But they could still check the box for 'cupholders' on their product requirements list.
