Great seats Jtrem! I am new to the forums and just got my MCS last week - but seat mods are already moving up my list of mods. I am considering either having the stock sport seats re-done in leather or getting new ones altogether.
If I can ask, what other seats did you consider, about how much did the Sparcos run you, did you do the install yourself, and where did you order them?

Same questions - I've had 2 back surgeries in the last 3 years and have strongly considereded some Sparco seats - but came to realize there is a fair amount of "detailed" research re: seat mounting rails, airbags, etc. for a 2005 MCS Pure Silver with Black roof (those seats sure would look nice it my baby). Any details re: parts, lessons learned, recomended dealers and procing would be appreciated.
Thanks ~ the picture's are great!

These seats have amazing back support. The seats are fairly simple to install. 4 basic bolts, and 1 bolt used to hook up the sealt belt. As for the airbag light, mine was turned off at the dealer. You need to put a resistor in order to trick the airbag light. There is threads on NAM that deal with that sorta thing. I noticed that the seats fit very tight in the car, the hit on both the console and the door panel. It doesnt bother me much, just makes sliding the seats alittle bit of a pain. I would suggest going to sparcousa.com and looking for a local dealer. Go sit in the seats they have to offer and pic one that you feel comfortable in. The seats do sit alittle lower then the stock seats so it is alittle harder getting in and out.

can you still use the origional height adjuster to make the seat higher?
The orginal height adjuster went bye bye ahaha. To mount the sparcos, you need to used a different base and slider. So its crazy, because it feels like im setting on the floor when I drive. Cool feeling though.
