Essential Mini used to sell gel covered vinly "S" Decals. Here is a pic:



The vinyl decal is gel coated so it is raised. They had problems with their supplier a while back and don't have them anymore.

Anyone know if they are available anywhere?

Mike at Aesthetic Creations does other domed stuff - I wonder if he could have these made???

Mike does some little magnets - not as narrow as the S but not much fatter - email him at aestheticreations-at-gmail.com and ask.

 

FYI, bimmian.com has S stickers available in all kinds of colors, but not domed.

 

If anyone finds someone that will do these (but who will probably want a minimum order), I'll go in on 3 or 5 red or orange ones. If they can be made from reflective material under the dome that wuold be even better. Let me know!

Guess I should pipe up. I have the design and have made a set in Carbon Fiber but I did not dome them.

I need to make a few that I can dome and see how they work. Doming something that small is tricky but can be done if the design is set up right.

I sould have them available on my website in the next week or so.

I will have some made next week. I will not be able to match the Hot orange though. They don't make vinyl in a color that is anywhere close to that

Disappointing for me because I would love to make headrest decals in that color.

 

Red is good for me. Will they possibly be made from reflective material?

 

Not at this point. Reflective is very expensive material so I don't buy it till I need it. To get all the different colors in reflective would cost me a bundle. Not worth it for a $10 sticker.

They will be $10 BTW for the set.

How about a blue or red? i know the stock is red but a "puffy" red would be cool or maybe a blue to match the Hyper Blue, just let us know

I ordered a set from Mike. He will try to make them sometime next week.

Quick question... Does anyone know if the "S" on the intercooler cover is the same size as the "S" on the side vents? If so, well, I think you see where I'm going with this... If not, tell Mike that he needs to make a set of *3* badges, 2 for the vents and a third for the intercooler. That plain, black plastic is screaming for a gel-covered, crimson accent... SCREAMING I say!

 

That's strange. I was the first to order a set (I ordered them on January 4th) and I still have not received anything. Mike keeps telling me that he's having delays. I've been patient, but if others are getting them first ... that's not cool.
