Too much? stripe.

I've been curious about extending my stripe to the grill portion of the bumper. I ordered a replacement from the marketplace forum just in case it all goes wrong or doesn't look as good as I thought. What are the thoughts on this? Should it stay or is it to much? When doing this I noticed the vinyl isn't aligned the best above and below the grill.

Up close, #1 from 10+ft #2

But I'm also bothered by the chrome interruption and being overly ****, if YOU like it then keep it, because at the end of the day YOU are the one that oges out to oyur garage at 2am to stare at it.

They both look pretty good to me. Give it some time and see what you think

Well, you asked for opinions, so I'll give you mine...

I personally am NOT a fan of extending the stripe onto the grille (honestly, every timje I've seen it done, I tihnk the car would have looked better without the stripes there) so extending it onto the LOWER grill is even worse (again, totally IMHO). Combined with the fact that the mesh material looks strange in an alternating color and you have what I would personally avoid.

But, what really matters is what YOU like best.

Thanks for the reponses. It's not quite what I envisioned either thus the reason for purchasing an extra grill just in case it doesn't work out. It does seem a little thick looking. I was going for the look of the scoop grill. I'll give it a few days where I can see it more often before I decide. I appreciate each and every response.

BTW, my wife said she doesn't care much for it either.

It looks finished to me! I like it a heck of a lot better than the before. I say keep it, but obviously you're not!

I think it looks a bit "off" now because of the mesh. Before, it looked like the lower grill was supposed to be "open", kind of like there's nothing there. The upper grill being different because of the slats. Now, the added stripe kind of draws the eye down to the mesh... does that make any sense?

Regardless, before OR after, it looks good dude

BTW, of the 2, I like the before better, but frankly, I think both are a bit too much. Yet, I keep adding checkerboard images on my own MCSc, so who am I to talk?
