Just currious, can the JCW Steering Wheel accept MFSW controls?

Yes your MFSW controls and airbag will transfer (assuming you already have a 3 spoke wheel).

The JCW Wheel is not compatible with the 2-spoke MFSW controls and 2-spoke airbag.

Ok I was hoping to be proved wrong, but Im only being proved half wrong at the moment.

I have the 2-spoke MFSW (03 build) so is the control wiring different or is it jus the placement of the buttons? For example, if I got controls out of a later build 3-spoke could I simply rewire it and use an airbag from a later build MINI? Prety much I want to be able to fit the JCW steering wheel into my 03 MCS without losing my airbag or MFSW controls.

Thanks,

Well anything can be done if you have enought money and know what your doing. So yea it can be done but will the final price be worth the look?

Yeah doing this is only a thought at the moment, its not something I am all about at the moment just trying to think if it remains an option of if I should explore alternate routes to take.

One problem may be the number of things you can control. Keep in mind that the 3-spoke does not have a button that allows you to switch functions on the head unit. You can only switch between radion/CD/Aux from the head unit itself.
