Question about the Shark injector.

If I use my shark to load back on my stock program, It then copies the modded program back to the shark. Question is, Then could I use the shark on another mini other than my own?

As far as I recall in my foggy tired brain, from people using them on BMWs, the Shark is one car only - mates with the single car VIN and that is that, can't resell or use on another car.

Hmmmm.... That is incorrect information!

Upon first use, the Shark Injector copies the VIN number of the MINI on which it is first loading. Then, on each subsequent use, it first checks to see if the VIN of the MINI on which it is to be loaded matches the stored VIN. If it does not match, the software will not load.

Note this error code from the Shark Injector installation instructions:

162 Vehicle Mismatch – Shark Injector™ was previously used or attempted to be used on a different
BMW!! The unit will only work on one car!
