As i was removing my dash and having my door in the way, I thought to myself "A mini with suicide doors?" I remember my dad having them on his truck and I he still had the card to the place that did them. I called and sure enough they told me it was possbile to do to the mini. They want 1500 for both doors. I honestly think its a good price and suicide doors look way better than vertical doors I believe. Any thoughts? Should I go for it?

 

There is a gentleman in VA - DCMM club - who had this done to his MINI last year. He's had some real issues with them. I don't know all the details but I bet if you post a message on the DCMM forum, you could find out. His name is Dave.

Thanks.. it was just a thought, I think it might look good. However if im going to have problems ehhh ill steer clear of them.

 

Dave had some lambo-style doors installed. The issues he had with them weren't mechanical in nature, more problems with finding competent people to do the work. If you want to contact him he goes by big_davoc here
