Euro Parcel Shelf Posted on eBay

There is a Parcel Shelf posted on eBay here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Offic...50886329QQrdZ1

It has all of the pieces and transmission stick saddlebags as a bonus.

Bidding already higher than your other post about a british retailer selling new ones (and thanks for that link!). I just bought one from them for 68 pounds, or about $129. Linky:

Hope that helps.

The one I ordered from NewMINIStuff arrived yesterday. It's the real deal - in perfect shape with all of the pieces. It took 3 weeks to get from England to Phoenix, but was well worth the wait. I have a feeling they will be selling a lot of them!

The eBay one is interesting: $129 high bid and still 5 days to go. It's going to be a great post for the seller by the time it's all over.

It's pretty easy. You just yank (and I mean YANK hard - I broke a nail in the process) the knee bolster off. You'll see two little screw-hole things, one on each side of the steering column. Put one of the little blue clippies on each hole, use a little tape to hold them in place. Then line up the tabs on the parcel shelf to the spaces on the edge of the opening, work the shelf into place and put the screws in.

If that wasn't descriptive enough, you can do a search, I know someone has done a good install with pictures somewhere...

Yank straight down towards the floor. You won't break anything - it's two little metal plug-type-things that will pop out. I honestly thought I was going to be able to get it off, and then I gave it one good hard yank with everything I had and it finally came off. I think for most people it comes off easier on the right side than the left.
