I bought my 2004 MCS, used, almost a year ago now and it did not come with a rear parcel shelf. Are RPS's an option or standard equipment on all 2004 MCS's?

 

They are OE.

 

It should be there...

Give a call to the previous owner if you can. Or else, you'll probably have to buy it at the dealer...

If you, the original question poser, when you refer to rear parcel shelf mean the removable shelf that goes up and down when you open the hatchback then I would say it should have been there and was standard on the '04.

 

Here's what happened. The previous owner took it out or damaged it and never replaced it. I know this, because when I traded my 03 in, I forgot to put the parcel shelf back in because it was in my garage. I just happened to rummaging through the garage a couple of days later and found it. I then proceeded to the dealer to give it to them. Since I had removed the rear seats, I had no use for the shelf, and so it just sat in my garage.
