Those are plastic. The color depends on the interior color and or if the owner had them painted. Some remove them and have them painted to match the outer paint or other color in the interior.

Good luck with your car; I can say I have had more fun in my MCS than any other car I have owned

You can get it from the dealer as a factory option...

It's actually gun metal color.

The car looks stock to me. The interior is the same as my 03, anthricite.
I'd think about new tires at some point, otherwise go have fun with it.

Good Luck!

I was going to say the same thing. I bought my '05 MCS with almost every option except for NAV and the cold weather package (I live in Texas, don't really need heated seats, etc..) for less than 30k.

I'd keep looking around for a better price or I'd even go to the dealer and see what they have on the lot or order one. You'll get a newer model, for less money, etc..

MINIGolfer1,

If you ever have a stiff/sore back, you will love heated seats. I use them more for that than for cold weather.

Most of you probably didn't notice that the seller is Canadian and it is $30K CAD. That is still $27K USD which seems like a lot for a 2003 with 32K km, but I don't know the Canadian market. Current price for a new S in Canada is $34K CAD.The only interesting thing I noticed is the Digital SoundModul, which may have cost around $2K.

That's a little steep. My 05 with 17K was only $22K. Now provided it was pretty bare as it didn't have the sport package, auto air condition and other amneties that my 03 had. Still though, that's a little bit too much even though the car looks really nice. Good luck !!

Even though my MINI is garaged at home and at work, when the temps during the day are over 100 degrees, and the nighttime temp doesn't get below 85, believe it or not the seats stay warm enough.

I have a stiff/sore back just about every day because of all the golf that I play.

I will keep it in mind though should I move away from Texas and live somewhere that has more normal temps and seasons of weather.

Digital SoundModul is a dealer installed upgrade to the stereo. I saw the tag on the speakers. It is expensive but not cost effective when compared to aftermarket upgrades. The webpage does not give much detail about the car. If you can get a full list of options and features included with the car, people may offer more comments. Are they leather seats, OEM driving lights, etc.
