Don't be picking on those pet rocks. I was too broke to afford one so I (literally) took a string and some pocket lint, glued eyeballs to them and named them. They lived happily in a matchbox for many years. I bet if I dug far enough in my storage unit they're still cuddled up together!

I still want a pet rock...a pink one with a little jolly roger tattoo (call me SuckerStoo)

If you look closely you can see the light's reflection in the underside of the wing... the upper edge of the light on a hard top (if I remember right - I have a Cabrio personally) is curved IIRC while the leading edge of the wing here is STRAIGHT. But, at least the two angled, forward-sweeping angles outside of the brackets visually tie the wing in with the curve of the backside. The best LOOK would be a curved leading edge on the wing, but I don't know what the performance trade-offs for something like that would be - I assume they made the leading edge straight for a performance-related reason, but I may be wrong (I admit I'm not in-touch with the "big wing" aesthetic, being yet another "conservative old fart".)

PS - not to hijack the thread, but I saw this in Toys 'R Us yesterday, BoCRon and thought off you - you NEED this on your dashboard! :
More like this...

Less of this...just my 02 cents...

Of course, I understand laying up a whole new wing section just for the Mini isn't considered necessary...But obviously, that won't stop me

ImagoX, I can't see the pic but I'm guessing it's of the new El Kabong action figure. I've been waiting for months for this to come out!!! You actually saw one in Toys R Us???? Guess I should call the one near me and go buy 'em out!
There is also a bobblehead bank coming out in October, my husband can't stop rolling his eyes at my excitement.

I gotta admit I got a good laugh when I read FBT's post about the $75M. Your response forced me to wonder if I would care what people thought about my product after I had a few $M of profit in my pocket. Maybe I'd just cash-out and move on to rape and pillage another marketplace. But probably not. I think making a good product is what motivates most of us. And it's the products that we're personally proud of, not the ones that necessarily make the most money, that are the most satisfying.

Sorry imagox, but I think that the pet rock made millions of people just a tiny bit happier. . . Things that make people happy are good products.

and now back to our regularly scheduled product bashing and praising. . .

Mix this wing with the JCW wing, remove the logo, and lower the price.
Then you'll have a winner... for some people.
Keep up the good work!!!
