I am almost finished building my MINI trailer. I bought a small 40x48 trailer from Harbor Freight. I have just finished painting it black (it came in a really strange red lipstick shade?). I am supposed to supply my own plywood decking but I'd rather do a black diamond plate type of decking but can't figure out where you go to get a piece custom cut?? HD/Lowes doesn't carry it in a big enough piece.
Any suggestions?

Find a local shop that specializes in outfitting work van interiors for shelving and such. They usually have acces to this kind of stuff.

The other idea is to find a 4x4 shop and ask some of the good ol' boys for some of that there shiny and fancy diamond plating... (sorry I live in the south and I couldn't help myself) no really a shop specializing in either custom work truck interiors or a 4x4 shop specializing in decking out big ol' trucks.

Look up "metal fabricators" in the yellow pages.

 

Any Metal Or Aluminum Supplier. They Might Make You By A Whole 4x8 Piece.
