Gauge mounting positions

Just wanted to get some feedback on where to mount some gauges.

I'm going with the Nexus series from Autometer. There are 6 I would like plus their wideband gauge if it comes soon.

Does anyone have suggestion? I will put 2 in an Alta pod, 2 more in the factory pod that sutes by the cigarette lighter...where else?

I have seen guys rig stuff on the A Pillar using both fabed pods and gauge cups...any pics?? Also i know you can stuff 'em in the vent by the speedo.

Any suggestion, pics whatever would be grrrrrreat!!

The 2 that you have left over, Hmm. Go with the vents. That will look sweet with the alta holder and the stock location. The A piller mount would through it off, unless you put em all there. Sorry, no pics here!

I would go with what qwert said, BUT I would NOT do an alta bar. Do it yourself and save your money. There are threads on it. All you have to do is put a long screw and screw a piece of metal unto the back of the tac.

Sweet...thanks fella's. Those centre vents, didn't someone make a cup for those so they sit snug? I am not worried about heat since I usually use the window setting but what about AC? Is it now blocked?
