The standard BMW bolt works with the MINI.

 

..or dip the stock tow hook in red, yellow, or orange Plastidip (mix yellow and red) for a cool looking cost effective alternative to the $50.00 Ebay one.

but if you look at the red one in the same aution you will notice it is a different design (not as nice - no bolts on the ends like the black one) So I wonder if you would actually receive the one that looks like that black one or not - considering this one you posted is on sale for $95 . Hmmmm either that one for $95 is way over priced or the Ebay one is a great deal

 

Isn't there a tow hook in your boot? I thought all MINIS came with one?

Out Motoring has them for only $19.95 + S&H. I am sure that you could paint it for less than $30 worth of paint.

Best of all it will not flex down and mess up the aerodynamics of the MINI.

Besides when was the last time you watched a race on TV where the toe hook flopped around like a wet noodle?

I personally don't like the look of the stock boner hook...i prefer my hook to be limp...besides it's not just flopin around...you do see the bolts on the sides right? Those could be tightened
