Bodykit + tail light idea.. Help!

Hello!

I am taking delivery of a DS/DS '06 MCS soon. I do want this car to 'stand out' from other DS Minis, and have come up with this...

Besides de-chroming most of the car, how would a DS/DS MCS look with these? (think DS/DS w/ black grilles, dropped, 18" flik wasps in Anthracite)

CTD Germany Body kit, also, if anyone has other pictures of this kit, feel free to share!

And these tail lights, painted body colour like this PS mini

Am I better off going colour coded Aero kit and not dropping alot of money on this? Some opinions would be loved..

All of the above with these rims:

I don't know how much that body kit costs but it is pretty tame for spending a lot of money. The lights are very nice though, haven't actually seen them on a MINI besides pics so you wouldnt have to worry about too many others having them I dont think.

Sounds like your ideas will look awesome. The CTD kit is really cool, although I thought it was designed for the Cooper only.

As far as dechroming goes and just and standing out from other DS MINIs, I WROTE THE BOOK. I commend your aspirations to be different.

So good luck. Cheers to your project.

I think the Aero Kit is the best looking body kit of all, maybe the one Minitor has, but I love the Aero Kit, with std taillights, and painted wheel arches. Clean, nice, simple.

Ok, not so sold on the CTD anymore, its cool, but as sam (drdrumnbass) pointed out, only for the cooper.

Italian kit=orciari, I just dont like the rear of that kit...

The tail lights however I love. I will most likely go aero + those tail lights!

My neither, it makes my butt look big.

Actually I got sorta used to it but it is a bit bulbous, my least favorite part. Have you checked out all of the other kits available?

this statement isnt true...they make a COOPER S version. They can be purchased many other places including a few in the US.

my opinion: The taillights are not good at all. They disturb the flow, and if they are gonna be body color, should atleast be molded into the body. They would look better on a honda.

The bodykit would be alright as long as you got wider wheels to accomodate the wider arches. Although, i would fill in the fake rivet holes they have on them.

I love the MS Design kit.
Not sure how those fake bolt-on holes would look like in different colors though.
I inquired about getting them imported and it was around $2K. not bad.
