Chrome Interior Reflection Blindness or Annoyance?

While pondering new builds and scanning the used market I wonder how distracting the chome interior can be? It looks great but not at the expense of being temporarly blinded, or continously blast with reflection while driving west at sundown. I can imagine the tach chrome would be the prime culprit.

For those that have it how often does it become a distraction?

Nice Mini!!

I have the chrome interior and have never had a problem with reflections/glare even with the top down!

I wear my sunglasses at all times, no problem.

Seriously the chrome that most of us place in our MINIs is nowhere near what a 1960s US vehiicle had. Chrome looks great and won't cause you any grief.

No problems at all. I'm one of those that hates glare too.

Get it, you'll be glad you did.

Same here, no probs. You can always buy the chrome pieces separate and add just a little at a time to see how much you can handle. The top of my steering wheel blocks any real glare off the top of the tach.

Interior chrome no problems. Exterior chrome can cause blindness.

I suggest just getting the chrome now... it's not much (if any) more expensive than the aftermarket chrome options and you will have the car just how you want it.

I have never had a problem with glare or anything at all wrong with the chrome. just go for it!

My only issue with what others have called the "stunning" chrome interior on my 05 MCS is keeping off the dust!
