Need creative advice from the MINI community

I am looking at doing a custom roof graphic, hopefully to have aesthetic creations put it on at the dragon if possible.
Anyway, I would love a graphic of some sort, I have El Kabong graphics in the rear windows. These can be taken on and off, so not permanent.
I am also trying to stay with a black and white theme for El Kabong, but am open to suggestions.
Would another El Kabong image on the roof be too much? I would like to have it with a checkerboard of some sort maybe? Or a black and silver Union Jack with El Kabong on it? I also thought of having El Kabong weilding a Union Jack instead of the guitar for something different. I am having trouble figuring out what would look attractive and fun but not going overboard.
I have looked at many NAMers graphics and just love the creativity here, but I have apparently hit a stumbling block when it comes to my own!

Here's what I have now,

Annette

I vote for LexLow's!
Not too much of the checkerboard, but just enough to tie it in with the mirrors. And of course a very unique picture!

What something like lexlow, but replace the quitar w/ a UJ (grayscale), I would say get rid of the CB border on the top/bottom. I think the checkerboard flag ties it in.

OOOH, I likeee. I wonder if the guitar was replaced with the flag instead and leave the rope in his hand, or make his cape checkerboard.
You guys rock, I'm starting to get a clue here

But El Kabong isn't El Kabong without the guitar!

Maybe make him running with some speed lines?

(Yeah, it's a bad leg rotation. Makes it look like he twisted his ankle. That and it should probably be rotated back a few more degrees. I don't have much to work with here. )

What lexlow done is great, so just modified and made few more options for your (not necessary better).
BTW, those light grey checker board were intend to show like a silver/white checker board.

I think the flag needs to be moved away from his face. It gets a bit messy and confusing around his eye and hat.

I like El Kabong running, that's a nice alternative.

El Kabong is the alter-ego of Quick Draw McGraw (no relation to Phil )
A Hanna-Barbera cartoon from the 60's. El Kabong, Quick Draw in disguise, was kind of a Zorro type figure who would swoop in and hit "el bad guys" with his guitar making the distinctive "kabong" sound.
When my MINI first came home, I was waiting for the perfect name to come to me. My son is the one who said he looked like El Kabong, the black top and spoiler over the pepper white reminded him of the black hat and cape. The image totally cracked me up and since I wanted a name to make me smile, like the MINI itself, it was perfect!
