awesome camera work (amateur camera moron here) are these shots using a really big F-stop, to get the limited focal depth?

Is that shiftknob the kind that pops off like the stock one or is it the screw on kind where u have the file down the plastic part of the shifter to fit? Does anyone know if MOMO makes a shift **** that fits like the stock one? thanks

Slides right onto the shifter, no filing required. Has a small set screw on the front base of the konb that tightens with a Hex wrench. Stock **** took a good amount of force to get off...as I had read.

dandp...
I'd throw some Loctite on that set screw. My aftermarket
pedals screw on and with the harsh ride seem to work their
way off without it. Nice pics!!!

Thanks 2minis...the way the roads are in NJ after this winter I may want to look into that. Does Loctite make it permanent though?

No. You can still get it out. Just use a small amount.
It will just keep it from loosening on its' own.

Thanks sambusik. Camera Nikon D1X, 50 MM lens (effective focal length was 75 MM due to digital SLR conversion)

They do make it for the MCS as well...shift pattern on top is removable if needed.

Just make sure you get the blue stuff, not the red.
Red is permanent; blue is formulated to leave it removable, but keep it from vibrating loose.

Slant ...how far a drive is Toronto from NJ??? If the weather ever clears up in the Northeast...

I would call UUC and ask them regarding shipping options. Can't wait for the pedals they are supposed to be making.

Yeah, a nice pair of gloves help when it's 10 degrees out. Stock **** can a be a bit chilly as well.

Heh heh.. you're telling me... I work nights, and we've had a bit of an extra-cold spell lately... kind of a shock to see that 'lil negative sign before the number on the temp. gauge... ack!

I JUST pulled up the UUC site looking for this TODAY! I do like it a lot, and need to replace my stock stifter as the R-6 plastic cover seemed to rip for some reason.

Looks awesome! I'm also a big fan of your camerawork. Very futuristic looking for some reason.

I would love that, but it would probably melt my hand to the shifter in the Cali summers, especially with the color I want (BRG/B). Great looking though...

I wished UUC did the illuminated shift **** for the MINI also! I might have to make my own; after putting an //M Illuminated on my 3-er, I can't live w/out it anymore!

I asked UUC regarding the illumnation, they said the way the MINI shaft and cover are, it would require a wire in view...let me know how you fare Ryephile...

RCristiano...thanks for the compliment. Am curious how the **** feels in the NJ summers, which can be a tad bit warm.
