Interior/Exterior UUC Motorwerks shift knob installed
I love the ****! It can get cold, but oddly enough, it warms up quick and then holds the same temp as your hand - nice.
It also adds some heft to the shift - it weighs quite a bit.
Since the install and driving around with it, I've put it on my site, and have it available through MINI-Motorsport. I think it's one of the best ***** out there.
Here's the shot of it on my car:
Let me know if you have any questions on the install or anything else.

>>I asked UUC regarding the illumnation, they said the way the MINI shaft and cover are, it would require a wire in view...let me know how you fare Ryephile...
Yes, that will be an issue, trying to hide the wiring! The idea would to find a new shift boot that would interconnect with the shiftknob, or I may make a trim collar to bring the boot to the ****, to sort of finish-off the aesthetic.
I may try the MossMini shift boot, I would love UUC to make an Alcantara boot , or I may have to whip out my sewing machine and do a microfiber boot myself!
I still have 'bout a month 'til my MCS gets into my garage, so I have a bit of time to ponder it
Cheers,
Ryan

>>Slant ...how far a drive is Toronto from NJ??? If the weather ever clears up in the Northeast...
>>
>>I would call UUC and ask them regarding shipping options. Can't wait for the pedals they are supposed to be making.
Calling UUC is not really an option for me. You see, I can't call them during regular business hours as I'm at work...God knows what the bosses would do to me when they get the long distance bill! By the time I get home they're closed. I guess maybe I should send them another email.
As far as how far Toronto is from NJ...It doesn't look too far on the North American map, but I think it's a 10 hour drive if you're up for it
Imagine all the sites you'll see- CN Tower, SkyDome (where the Jays play), Niagara Falls...
