^^ i think so too... unless they're completely redoing the
suspension geometry, that car is not going to drive right, probably.

I thought the MINI had equidistant drive shafts to eliminate torque steer, meaning that this wouldn't be an issue in a MINI?

(Although not personally a fan of the look, I do love to learn about the car...)

absolutely correct...this would by no means be a smart move for a racer such as yourself. On the street it's a different ballgame. I'm sure those cars pictured are a bear to driver and probably do it very poorly...but that's a show car for you. I do wish our cars could handle something like a 255 in the rear..I would think that having that much more rubber contact would improve handling..and cause a lot less tire screeching you hear now with these skinny tires.

For more info on painted arches and aero side sills (without the aero bumpers) see my mods here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...painted+arches

Look to the top of the second page for the best pics.

Did you do anything to protect the paint on the arches? Just paint or did you add any protective film?

I haven't done anything yet... I'm still waiting for the paint to cure.

I might have some 3M clearguard applied to a few places, but I'm pretty good w/ touch-up paint and I usually have 10 or so coats of Zaino, so I might just let it be for now.

Sorry Saakey..I totally missed this post...

for what it's worth, the miglias I had turned out to be fakies....they were quite heavy...I've since had a look at a real set, and they *feel* lighter than the s-lites...

I photoshopp'd mine silver, and this is how it came out...I think it looks sweeeeet:

I'm currently looking at these wheels - Enkei RS+M 17x7 et45...but the money tree is barren at the moment:
