Carbon Fiber front lip

OK, I really like those front spoilers I see on a couple of Coopers- the adjustable Carbon fiber ones. Post pic, where I could get one, that would be lovely. Thanks!

Here is the one from M7 on my MCS with regular bumper:

And here is the new M7 aero splitter on my current setup:

This is not a great view of the splitter and I will take some more to give you a better view.

Hi, I am not very good in mod on aerodynamic, so correct me if I was wrong. The angle of the splitter on your aero kit, is it going to lift up the car more than down force it? Seems it is pointing up.

The small strut braces allow you to leave them up for street driving if you have a very low car and then lower them for track. I have mine in a failry low posistion all the time and have had no issues in over 30,ooo miles.

I installed the M7 splitter on my car right before it went to the dealer 2 weeks ago for work. It has not returned yet so I haven't put the adjustable peices on.

Sorry, another stupid question When you (referring to M7) say the struts are adjustable, they are adjustable AFTER you install them right? You don't have to take them out and redrill into the bumper, right? Can you explain how to adjust them up and down without unscrewing the whole assembly? Again, my apolgies from a non-mini owner who is so close to pulling the trigger and will get a front splitter! LOL

No worries There are NO stupid questions with regards to auto parts LOL . The struts are actually threaded barrels . To adjust all you do is loosen two nuts and turn the barrel. As you turn it it either retracts the threaded rods or extends them depending on direction. Re tighten nuts and you are good to go.

Yes, that pic is a older pic of when I first installed the splitter without the correct spacers. I later got the correct install info from Randy on the spacers. Here is the latest pic of my M7 aero splitter installed correctly:

those lips are supper sexy!

the only thing that is holding me back on buying on, is knowing i drive all most 200 miles aday. I've hit so much crap on the freeways in my golf, and i have a fiborglassed bumper that has been repaired to meny times.

When i move closer to work, i might get one of these for the mini
