You would really be suprised how easily a DS car witn nothing reflective on the car dissapears down a small alley or in a parking garage.

Can't argue with that logic. Maybe I'll run into you sometime & we can talk mods.

If the "reflectors" on EBaY are bought and installed, shouldn't they still reflect light when lights are shined on them?

yeah, but why would you want that? they are shiny black and will jump out. i thought the idea of tinted side reflectors was to make them dissapear.

I put these on mine, here's how they look during the day.

And with the lights on.

They are not perfect, they leave a tiny bit of the reflector showing on the top/bottom edge, but so far no one has noticed other than me!

And keeping the engine running dried the driveway!
This is a custom touch I may try.

I was so jazzed up about the wheels I missed those other things. I'm a convert!!! I'm going with the El Kabong marker lights!

All kidding aside, nice car!

Well actually my latest mod is the "Mach 5" steering wheel!!!
J changes the wheels, K makes the front plate slide out, and L turns on the under carriage heater/blower! Stay tuned to see what the other buttons do!

And people say guys aren't detail oriented, you guys always make me smile

Oh, and yes they are the ASA wheels, I really like them. With the Yokohama 100 tires, the handling is vastly improved and the ride is quieter.

I can't wait to change mine out. They are the last of the red/orange reflectors on my DS/W Checkered MCS. I Love the way the look on your car BoCRon (very nice wheels too!). I think all silver/chrome/white will look great on my DS. No place for red/orange!

I applied the film... love the color and the minimal (but visible) lights at night, but yeah, the film is the tiniest bit thinner than the reflector and, hence, does show the slightest bit of color at the edge. If it keeps bugging me I'll just pull off the lights and coat them with a few light layers of blackout spray. I know some people go for full removal, but I actually like SOME side lighting.

Got 'em changed out yesterday. It was easier than I expected. No red/orange on this MCS except the S! I'm super happy with the change.
