New Order - Question

Next week I am taking delivery of a new 2006 MCSa AB/AB with chrome mirror caps and panther leather. Two questions:

1. Did i screw up ordering exterior chrome line? i opted for this given the fact I was selecting an all black car.

2. Did I screw up not ordering heated seats and rear fog as my toggle bank is not full? Can I easily fill the open toggles so it appears full?

Thanks. Merry Christmas.

Heated seat switch is on the console by the side mirror control, not a toggle on the dash. There are some nice aftermarket kits if you decide to add later. I have the leather seats w/heaters and I must admit they get used a lot, this is the first car I've owned with leather & heat.

Heated seats. An absolute must in a convertible.

"Sam" is the first car I have had with heated seats + leather. I will admit that the heat is used quite often, especially with the dop down on a crisp day - BUT if I didn't have the heated seats, I don't think I would have missed it too much. If I were you, I wouldn't worry.

And Wesmonster is right - the switch is not a toggle on the dash. Just the fogs.

I like my chrome exterior - think it goes very well with my Jet Black exterior. Everyone is different, but I am thinking that you will be pleased.

Chrome will look great!

Without the rear fog, you will have an odd plastic cap covering the space where the fog light goes. You can have the fog lights installed later though, but it will cost a lot more.

Heated seats are great! Love them in my wife's Cooper and wish I had them in my MCS. . . .

No matter what, you are going to LOVE your new MINI so don't worry about it for now!

Like Yucca said, I think more important than the toggles being full is the empty spot in the back bumper that you get without the fogs. It may bug you...it may not...

However, I know there are solutions to this if you do a search............

You are going to love the MINI! I love the chrome exterior! It isn't too much at all in my opinion.

I have exterior chrome line package on my 05 PS/B MCS Cabrio and 05 MCS JB/JB which I really, really like. Plus I've added the chrome cups handles. You got to like chrome. Some on this board are chrome-haters and that is okay, too. Glad we don't all like the same thing.

The seated seats...if you have never had them...forget it. However, if you ever have them, you will never go without them if you have leather.
