US v. Canadian Rubber Floor Mats?

So given that I want rubber mats and not carpet, do I want the standard MINI set or this Canadian set? The Canadian set looks like it will hold more in a spill -- sort of like the VW Monster Mats.

Can the Canadian mats be ordered down "south"? And are there matching rear mats?

I have the "gears" rubber mats. It was available for front, rear and matching boot (I have all 3). The rear ones are pretty tiny...but who goes there! The front ones are quite deep and I am really happy with them. I have never seen the US mats so I don't know the difference.

Try ordering from www.mini.ca Is that not allowed?

floor mats

The Canadian ones are much deeper and hold more moisture than US ones so it depends how much ice or snow or rain you see. They are available from a NAM sponser coopersport.ca

We can get anything in the MINI OEM catalogue in both Canada and the US.

The floor mats can be seen HERE.

The matching Boot Mat is P/N 51 47 0 010 564 and the price is $79.50 CDN.

Hope that helps. PM or Email if you have any other questions.

Cheers,
Jason.

I have those "canadian rubber mats" and love them!

I've took my Lapis Blue carpets off after 1 summer and never put them back in... They look brand new!

The rubber mats hold a lot of water and snow! The only "downside" is the stock "carpet holders" don't fit the rubber mats holes, but they don't move at all!

The Rubber Mats come with a package of 4 clips to secure the front mats in the car.

Just thought I'd pass that on.

Cheers,
Jason.

One vote for Canadian mats.

I bought the Canadian-type mats on eBay without realizing it. I've had them in my car for 2 years and they're great. They definitely handle the Pittsburgh slush and ice.

vin.
