I love the look of your MINI! But I don't know if I see any aesthetic benefit to adding eyelids to your car, specifically. In fact, I find the eyelids a bit out of place and distracting amongst the bright silver paint, and black grilles.

The front of your car has a very cleaned-up, Euro look, for lack of a better way to say it. To me, the eyelids make it more complex, because they add a different texture. There's no carbon-fiber anywhere else on the front, (unless your hood scoop is carbon fiber--I can't tell from the picture, it just looks like gloss black). If your hood scoop is, in fact CF, then I withdraw my comments.

Now, I realize you don't have to care about what I think, nor should you; it's your car! I'm just saying that basically, I think it looks cleaner, and more unified without the added distraction of the eyelids. Besides, the '05 headlamps are so freakin' cool looking, why cover those beauties up???

Sorry for the opinion.

I appreciate your opinion I am actually adding alot of CF to the front of my car soon. I have a M7 Aero splitter sitting in the garage. I also have a M7 Ram air intake scoop on the way. If I can make the eyelids look good I will do the headlight surrounds in CF as well. But I created the vinyl eyelids to see how much I like them or not. Right now I am 50/50.

ya, i'd def. like to see some idea's that aren't "sleepy" looking, and I have a guy working on some carbon fiber parts for me, so a good design would be easy to pass off to him and have them made so it's not vinyl.
