G Tech RR

I'd like to add something like this to my car.

http://www.gtechpro.com/index.html

Does anyone have one of these? issues/problems?

Alternative brand recommendations?

Thanks,

bahamabart

My friend has the G-tech Pro SS in his car. I've seen it, but never used it, it records everything nicely and is supposed to be very accurate. I will be borrowing it in the near future to run it on my car after my pulley install. If you would like to see it in action, we could meet up somewhere when I borrow it.

It will NOT work just by plugging it in your lighter .. MINI down-volted the cigarette lighter

In order to work properly, it must be hard wired from the coil pack or somewhere in the engine bay ...

Do a search on it

I had done a search but nothing really popped up that made matters clear.
I actually would perfer a wire confg that does not use the cigarrette lighter, I hate cords running down the front of the dash.

Thanks will search again.

Would love to see this toy in action. Give me a call 305-332-5519 any weekend and lets see what we work out.

Well I'm hopefully getting my pulley installed today after school (I'm here now). I will be picking up the G-tech Pro SS tomorrow after school to run it on my car. I will post back after I pick it up, We'll see if there are any problems with running it straight off the cigarette lighter.
