I had an m7 CF front splitter. Looked great, no practical use though. I was doing 120... oops!... It ripped off and I found my self standing on the side of the freeway picking up the peices after two semi's hit it with atleast nine of their eighteen wheels

I do not ant to rain on anybody's parade but I am back in Conn for XMAS and will return to Ca on the 29th. I will do what I can as soon as I am home but I can do nothing for you at this time. I hope you understand but I am not going to rush this thru and want it correct the first time. As I mentioned earlier I met with our supplier and we made the pattern. I will call and see where it stands and let you know if here is anything of note. Happy Holidays

So you where doing 120 and it flew of.....just like that.

Both Randy and my self has hit north of 130 and never had an issue with it
flying of, delaminating, or vibrating it self to pieces....hmm did you use the
steel rods that come with the kit? And if you used the rod, could you tell what broke/snapped etc.

As for pictures, as soon as we have one to install it on, I promisse I will have
some tasty pic's

Your right. Greg (Onasled) has your splitter with brake ducts made into it for the track and I know he's seen 120 plus. I've seen the duct get riped off and no damage to the splitter. Waiting for Aero splitter. Keep up the new product work.

i may not be a genius but a production part ripping off... sounds kinda like a bad install... also if it "ripped off" wouldnt YOU have run over it first? thus destroying it... and not the semis behind you?

I am not what you would call an M7 fan but...I havent heard much BAD about their products, especially since they have their products on their cars...

but if I am wrong I would love to hear the story about how your front splitter ripped off at 120... and/or some pics

Jonathan from Worldone is putting togerther a group buy. He is waiting for M7 to get enough product onhand so he can fill orders all at once. He had a problem with the M7 strut bar group buy because not enough product was on hand and us buyers had to wait about 3 weeks or more. Pete from M7 said to contact him which I did. We are waiting for product guys. Jonathan said he will post as soon as he has splitters onhand.

M7 - Pete or Randy do you have any comments???

A group buy is not an easy undertaking, a lot of people promise to become part of the buying group, and then flake for one reason or another...

I do not stock a huge amount of products, to possibly, or even maybe, sell ex amount of any particular product. Jonathan knew that I had 5 STB's on hand when he started the group buy and there was no guarantee that I would have these in stock when the GB concluded......The bottom line is GB's meens
a great price and possibly some waiting.

As for the splitters.....again we do not stock up on 10-20 pieces to possibly
sell as a group buy product. our splitter is produced localy, and we can deliver plenty at any time.

There are two resons why we will not support group buys ourselves. One, it is a marketing tool which our dealers use and we do not want to compete with them by doing the same. Two, it takes a lot of time and and co-ordination from start to finish to pull a group buy off successfully. With some of the new items we have in the works and the day to day chores of keeping the rest of the product line shipping we really do not have the time. The reason our dealers can provide a group price to the end user is that we are able to cut our price to them as we are shipping a larger number of items at one shot. Easier for us , cheaper for you. I hope you understand and continue to support those dealers that are interested in putting together the group buys.
As a bit of update on the splitter, when i get back in CA on the 29th I will be striving to get a final sign off on the prototype and get production started. From what I have seen so far I think it is going to look so good I might just have to go out and get a Aero front end myself Hopefully you will get a chance to agree with me shortly. Thats if for now . Santa is on the way I need to get to bed. Merry XMAS to all!
