Trim less car?

I havent tried but I would like to get the trim painted to match the body. I can send it to my mom and have her paint it but that would be at least a week with out it, the question I have is. Do the side skirts seal the doors? My car is a daily driver so I can not garage it.

Want to paint them. I can get my mom to paint them for cheap but have to ship them to her. I have to drive the car everyday and will take at least a week to get it painted and back.

Ahh, ok. Well, I don't know about that. It looks like where the door seals is part of the side skirt.

Ok thanks for the info. I guess I will just have to either get a spare set of side skirts or go visit my mom.

I wouldnt see a problem with the finder trim as long as the Side marker lights are secured. But it is looking like it is a no go to drive around without the side skirts. So I may have to order a new set. I am thinking about doing what Pir8 97 said.
