Union Jack side mirrors

Hi,

Are the Union Jack side mirror's painted?

How do they hold up over time? Fading....

Mine look as good as the first day I put them on.

I have the actual ones that require popping off your old covers tho. Those sticky backed replacements look rather cheesy IMO.
