Just took mine off this weekend. Easy. the arm just took a couple shakes back and forth. Nice clean look for the backend. Best thing I've done to improve the look of my "boot"y!

Where did you happen to pick up a plug for the hole? I think this might be my next mod.

I just did mine a few days ago as well. Went to Low's and picked up a 1 inch plastic plug (package of two). I've heard that some have gone with a 1 1/8 plug but they didn't have one and, the one inch plug seems to fit just right.

I have to admit I laughed when I read this, but it wasn't so funny when I couldn't get my wiper arm off either. I ended up having to use a 3 jaw puller! ... wasn't feeling lucky enough to try a crowbar

I got the rear wiper delete done with the 1FastMini kit. I think the plug is perfect. It's the best that I've seen yet. It's almost not noticable, and the kit is cheap.

VIP Custom Parts sells a kit for $11. I have one....once the winter salt and road grime season is past, I'll pull the rear wiper and put it on as I'll retask that subssytem for my TMIC sprayer.

Here's the actual product link to the 1 Fast Mini kit...

http://www.1fastmini.com/servlet/Detail?no=112

and a pic

Dunno, I like the one I bought at Lowes for less than $2. What else comes in the "kit"?

I'd pay shipping to get any of your wiper blades when you remove them. (PM me). Even if the rubber is worn, I can replace with a refill.

I would also like to know what else comes with the kits? Seems like a lot of money for a plug.

the shaft it goes onto is tapered so it is supposed to be really tight, i think i used a hammer to kind of shock it and everything fell apart for me, and now i have a IC spray gun!

They sell plugs for the little plastic tubing often used for fish tanks or watering large gardens. You could check out a pet shop or Lowe's in the tubing section for the right size.

I, personally, just used a screw that threaded in nicely. Haven't ever had a leak.

Well, I pulled mine today and there was no drama at all.
I ordered a plug/kit from 1fastmini as well and received my receipt right away, hoping the plug comes quickly as well.

I think I'm going to spend sme time coming up with a squirter for the rear end now. Seems it would be a lot of fun.

Oh, hello old thread.

I went to remove my rear wiper today and it would not budge. So I went to AutoZone, Pep Boys, Lowe's and Home Depot in search of some sort of puller. Nobody had anything.

Any other suggestions?

I cut mine off with a hack saw. The steel insert contained within the plastic of the arm was (and still is) firmly corroded to the shaft. I'll get it off someday, but for now the motor is in the bottom drawer of the tool cabinet.

My gallery has a pic of what the back of the MINI looks like wit the wiper delete mod.
