I found a salvage yard that says it has or gets a bunch of bumpers. Also, I hear dealers and individuals have a lot of bumpers due to dealer Aero kit installs.

I don't want to get cheated on this. I have seen new rear bumpers go from 80.00 to 200.00 on eBay. Any idea what is reasonable?

 

I got the factory Aero Kit rear bumper (Cooper, non S - unpainted) from an online friend for $120 shipped.

If it's already painted, you could get it cheaper, say it's not the color you want, no matter what color it is. (could try, right?) hehe.

Just do some research (like this one) and find out an average or how much you're willing to put down.

I paid $80 for my CooperS front bumper and would be willing to go as far at $100. Dealers throw them out or sell them privately so they're making a %100 profit off them. Make friends at your dealership and let them know that you're interested. They'll make you a deal.

If I got an unpainted read bumper, how much should I pay to paint it?
