Last weekend I installed some boot stripes on my convertible. Overall, they look great, but there are a couple of problem areas. When I first got the stripes, I noticed that there were spots where the stickers didn't seem to adhere to the backing paper. These areas are now not sticking to the boot. Is there anyway to fix this short of replacing the stripes?

Ideas or suggestions are appreciated.
