Swapping 3rd brake light help

I am planning on swapping clear tail lights from an 02 MC to a 03 MCS. I know how to swap the tail lights, but am unsure of how to swap the third break light as I have read that I may need to remove the MC spoiler as I think my MC has the sports package. Could someone look at my pics below and let me know if it will come out easily or will I have to remove the spoiler? And if I do need to remove the spoiler, does anyone have instructions how, as I have no idea? Thanks.

open the boot and look up near the light. you will see 3 screws holding it in place. take those out and it will pop out. Swaping is easy from that point

The Rear spoiler needs to be removed or at least pryed up in front

to remove 3rd brake light.

Removing the 3rd brake light seems more difficult on an after market spoiler than with the stock S one.

I changed the third light out BEFORE I changed my spoiler. Easy as pie!. Just unscrew the 3 bolts, at least on the '04

The "Sport Package" spoiler, that you have, is different than
the spoiler on the "S".

If you remove the (3) screws holding it in place, and then try
to remove the light, you will realize it comes it contact with the spoiler.

The Spoiler needs to be removed. It is held down by (2) screws as
well as double sided tape or glue.
