2005 Door panel Pads

You know those annoying arm rests you have to pop off to get to the last torx screw. Does anyone know a good tool you can buy at any nationwide store to get those off easy?

I used a kitchen butter knife before wrapped in a tshirt... but that did not work to well.

Honestly I am trying to think of a place I can buy a long sturdy plastic wedge....

Any thoughts appreciated

i used a 1/2 putty knife wrapped in a rag it worked well. After you get it the first time... its much easier to get off later. Make sure you dont have a sharp point on whatever... otherwise you dig into the plastic clip and not push it down.

Not sure where I got it, but I have a tool that I bought that was made for installing the window rubber when I was restoring my VW.

Stiff plastic, about the size of a knife blade, and thins out to a flat blade (a little wider than a flat head screwdriver) on each side. It works VERY well. I have used this tool for a number of things over the years that need screwdriver-like prying, but I don't want to damage the surrounding material.
