Interior/Exterior Ram intake project
Wow whats going on!!! I am with 62Lincoln: The previous version (post #273) is much nicer. Sorry but that whole lift in the apperture of the scoop looks awful.
The cleaner lines of the previous versions are much legible and are an intelligent design (its curves and tangent lines follow the curvature of the hood quite nicely)

.
Personally I don't like the hood scoop that m7 has been selling before this great project. PLEASE DON"T SCREW UP A GREAT DESIGN!!!
M7: please keep it simple and clean just like your website used to be before this revised version.
thank you.

Screw up what design? They're both great...just variations on the same theme.V1.0-slated to go into production
Moderatly aggressive designed to maximise air flow to IC.

V1.2-experimental
Subtle change to OEM designed to improve air intake while retaining stock appearance.
Yikes! relax. I have been away for a while (just got engaged by the way
)and just jumped to the last page and thought that the original design was going to be fully revised or something.
I'll just stay out of this and avoid "confusing" this thread.

I got Msfitoy out last Sunday after a month of hibernation
...V1.2 works nearly as well I think
I didn't have the Alta diverter so I rigged up a foam barrier instead and that was probably not as effective for testing. Maybe next week...in the mean time...let it rain, let it rain, let it rain
Pizza?

It's finally here!
Peter has informed me that we have a green light for lift off
Intake V1.0 will go into production as soon as next week in CF
I don't know how he intends to take orders as it's not up on his site yet. Maybe you guys could inundate his phone
