We will get updates as we get them.
That would be nice, since I'll be painting mine regardless. I doubt it would save much money though if you those are your only two options.

Hey Sid, will this new look allow for a shaker hood scoop option?

P.S. Think something might happen after the holidays have lapsed?

Swear to god! I was gonna make some ridiculous ricer joke reference about this "aero" kit, when I realized that it actually looks more like one of the masks worn by every wrestler on "Lucha Libre." Really! I mean it!

carbon fiber is nice, but isn't there a huge shortage on cf nowadays? wouldnt that drive the price north of what most people would spend?

i wont care if it saves me 2 lbs, 2 lbs wont be felt! even if you guys made it out of ABS, it'd be great for me already, i'd paint it and it'd look great!

Doesn't need to be CF

I definitely don't need it to be CF since I'll be painting it anyway and weight savings would be minimal. Great to hear one of the vendors picked this project up and is running with it.

Yep! There is a major shortage. I started this thread a couple of weeks ago. You guys should forget about finding large quatities of this material at an affordable price. If the scoop is going to be expensive already, adding CF will make it ridiculously expensive.
here's the thread on the CF shortage topic

Actually...we have three vendors interested I'll let JS decide as he's the one who's has most invested. My design inputs didn't take much time at all.

Progress is; I am redesigning the scoop for ease of production and also getting quotes for production.
