Something different for my roof?

I've been trying to come up with something different but not completely off the wall for my roof. The other day I started thinking about a skull and crossbones, but I wanted something a bit more fun, so since I'm a girl I thought about this. What do ya think?

that is adorable!

See if you can find someone to make it out of 2 colors of solid vinyl instead of a printed graphic. It will last a LOT longer. . . . believe me

check with Mike at www.aestheticreations.com. He can easily do that in vinyl. He has the templates for roof graphics so it will be in the right proportions.

Thanks guys. I'm thinking of getting it and a wide black stripe with pin stripe on each side down the middle of the bonnet and boot.

No eyelids to attach eyelashes to.
Eyebrows, maybe, but I like it as is.

Well, Mike at AesthetiCreations was nice enough to send me a mockup of the graphic on a CR/B MINI, plus he added the stripes I want. Here is his original mockup:

But, I'm not sure if I want that orientation or this one. What d'yall think? Oh, and he threw on some eyelashes. I think they're kinda cute

I like the first orientation best because the graphic is more in line with the stripes. I don't like the eyelashes. I think the red bow and inverted heart nose is enough of a twist on the classic skull and cross bones

Cool skull In the skull facing fwd, if it were a little more to the back, like in the center but not, a little offset, would be nice. But anyway you go is very nice, specially with the stripes. Go for it!

I like the eyelashes...nice touch! I was wondering why the graphic in the first mock-up (my favorite) is so far forward on the roof. It seems it would look better a tad bit further back....more centered. Is this done for a reason?? The graphic itself on your MINI looks awesome!!!

Also...and this is just me, I admit...I'd love to see more scoops painted stripe color so that the scoop disappears instead of sticking out so blatantly in a way that conflicts w/ the stripe. It seems kinda, "Say, did you notice I have a scoop...see here?!?!" I prefer/recommend more of a stealth treatment. I do recognize the stripe material would be a bugger to fit properly both for the stripe and the scoop, but painting the scoop stripe color would work. Might be a "master plan" kinda thing to consider.

I like the first one I think that it would look really cool if you got the bonnet and boot stipes in black and white. The two skinny lines could be white and still have the center one be black. I dont know exactly how this would look or even if Aesthetic creations can do it but I think it would look cool.

Another tricky question about roof graphics. Does anybody ever really see/appreciate them? I think people see the UJ or Stars & Stripes and kinda fill in the gaps, but I have friends with nice roof graphics that, frankly, I've never really seen except in a pic from above on the Cooperflags web site. From a normal viewing position beside the car, the impact is all but lost.

I only say this because this is a fantastic graphic that I'd want to see...at least on occasion, and standing beside the car, you don't get to fully appreciate it. Just a random thought.

As everyone I have asked likes the graphic facing forward, I'll probably go with that one. Its jsut that far forward because that's where he put it, it can be moved back a bit when its installed.

Oh, and as for the hood scoop, I keep thinking I'm going to get a CF hood scoop so that should blend into the stripe a bit better

Thanks everybody for your thoughts on this. Now I just have to get my budget approved with teh hubby

Hmm, that is a good thought. One of my friends wants me to put one on each rear window instead but I'm not sure about that? I will get to see it alot at least, as I work on a big hill and the parking lot is at the bottom of the hill, so I can see it when I walk down the hill But I'll ponder your thought and see if another way to use it strikes me before I get my approval

I personally think that the car is pretty cool as is, on the other hand, that was a good point, how many people are going to see the roof graphic. But the idea is very unique, and it will probably look cool. I just like the simplicity, and again, that is my personal opion. Respect to others.

Of those 2 orientations, I definately prefer the 1st, but I think it should be turned 180 degrees. People who will see your graphic are likely to be behind you.
It should be staring at them, daring them to try anything, not have them looking up under your skull.

Just think of all of those towering SUVs that drive by. I'm sure most of them will see and appreciate roof graphics

I like the forward orientation one better as well.
