Schroth harness in a convertible?

Is it possible? Has anyone out there done it?

The one made for the MINI and I have both driver and passenger in mine connect to the rear seatbelt and floor bracket for the rear belts.

They will work fine and having a soft top will make no difference to the way they will be installed.

Someone with a hard top told me that the seatbelt anchor points might be different in the Cabrio.
Glad to hear this is not so

If you plan on autocrossing the car, be aware that many clubs won't let you run a convertible with a 4 or 5 point harness without a roll bar, my local region won't. The logic behind that rule is that if the car rolls over (unlikely in an autocross, but it has happened), you can't slide over to the side with a harness like you can with the stock seatbelt, so serious injury or death would result. Just something to think about.
