Looking to buy vinyl graphics~

Hey Hey~

I'm wanting to add a touch of flare to my mini, so I was looking at adding a couple more stripes, namely boot stripes and side stripes.

My big question is about the type of vinyl to buy. I was looking at getting the GT 500 side graphic from Cooperflags.com. They offer premium, metallic, frosted, and metallic vinyl.

What to buy?

The frosted sounded quite interesting, but I don't know how well it would look. My mini is hyper blue, with black roof and bonnet strips, so I'd probably go with black side stripes, so as not to draw attention away from the rest of the car.
If not the frosted I'd probably just go with the basic premium.

Just for note, I'll be buying the boot stripes from AestheticCreations.net.

Any feedback/info/insight would be apreciated. Thank you!

Hi, I bought custom lettered side stripes from Cooperflags. I had the same kind of questions as you but I think I read somewhere metallic was to be avoided. I asked my Graphics Guy (the guy who actually does our installs), and his response was to get only Premium Vinyl.

Remember that I specialize in custom graphics. You can e-mail me anytime to descuss what you would like to do with the side.

The frost vinyl will give your car an almost ghost feel. They will show up as a brighter blue. It's like adding a thin coat of white paint over the blue.

Black would would be suttle but nice. If you have the white pinstripes on the bonnet I would suggest following through with that in the side stripes.

If you need any ore help e-mail me mike@aestheticreations.net or PM me anytime.

I got my side stripes from Aestheticreations. Installed them myself, since they came with good instructions.

I did botch the bonnet stripe install, so consider carefully when deciding wether or not to DIY.
